JANE BRODY
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Jane Brody serves as Managing Director at Helmsley Spear with a focus on commercial leasing and industrial and land investment sales for the public and private sectors.
With over a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Ms. Brody brings experience specializing in arts, non-profit, healthcare, and education sectors. Her leasing transactions total over $50 million. Ms. Brody received the 2021 CoStar Power Broker Award for both sales and leasing.
A licensed real estate broker in both New York and North Carolina, Ms. Brody is dedicated to building lasting relationships with her clients. She has led real estate seminars and served on the board of EXIS Global where she launched an initiative to empower women in commercial real estate.
Prior to her real estate career, Ms. Brody worked with the American Red Cross, Ben & Jerry’s, Coca-Cola, the International Special Olympics, and the US Fund for UNICEF. Ms. Brody has served as an Executive Director and Board member for multiple non-profits. She holds an undergraduate degree from Pratt Institute and two master’s degrees in leadership, each from Columbia University.
Ms. Brody and her husband live on the Upper East Side in Manhattan as well as and in Asheville, NC with their two mini goldendoodles, Oscar and Zelda Mae.
