Peter Cannold joined Helmsley Spear, LLC with his team when the of Bloom Real Estate Group joined forces with Helmsley Spear. The majority of his business up to that time was in the men’s outerwear and raincoat business as either an owner or division President. From the early days as a salesman for men’s suits to the many years as a raincoat and outerwear manufacturer, he was successful selling licensed branded products into all the different retail areas. These included department stores, apparel chains as
well as off price stores and individual men’s retailers.

In the early 2000’s, he moved into the finance field at Capstone Business Credit who provided purchase order financing and accounts receivable factoring as well as being involved in real estate ownership. After being involved with the real estate, Peter decided to enter the real estate arena in a full time basis.

Since joining Helmsley Spear, he has been involved in a number of leases for businesses in the Garment Center where he has many close contacts and continues to maintain relationships that send referrals on a regular basis. He has placed companies in Midtown Manhattan spaces as well as in Long Island City and in the FiDi (Financial District) submarket. He is currently working on a number of potential sales to foreign investors for use either for hotels, building rehabilitation or ground us condominium construction.
