Showket Ahamed serves as an Associate Broker at Helmsley Spear and brings more than 16 years of experience in both commercial and residential real estate. Mr. Ahamed’s broad background began as a bank loan officer, and transitioned into real estate sales, acquisitions, leasing and mortgages, whereby he represents properties ranging from retail and offices to hotels and mixed-used buildings. He previously managed three bank offices of a national mortgage company based in New York City, and has closed deals totaling over $50 million. He is a guide and an advocate for his buyers and sellers seeking a path to success in today’s competitive market.
Mr. Ahamed is trained to easily adapt to every client’s needs and specifications. He is extremely proactive and effective in his communication throughout the entire real estate process.
Born in Bangladesh, Mr. Ahamed is fluent in more than five languages including English, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, and Bengoli. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Marycrest University in Davenport, Iowa. Mr. Ahamed currently resides in Nassau County, NY. His personal interests include shore fishing and spending time with his family.
